TriAmerica TourThe 2008 TriAmerica National Triathlon Series Tour will debut in May with several brand new venues including an exciting new championship location. Watch for a major announcement in February listing the 2008 dates and exciting locations.

Each stop of the TriAmerica National Triathlon Series Tour will kick off with the TriAmerica Super Sprint Triathlon followed by a TriAmerica TriKidz Triathlon for youths ages 6-14. Sunday will feature the TriAmerica Distance Triathlon that includes a 2K swim, 60K bike, and a 15K run. Select locations will also include a race of half those distances. The TriAmerica Festival of Sport and Fitness will encapsulate the weekend.

TriAmerica Myrtle Beach Update

Due to challenges associated with obtaining police approval for the bike course, the TriAmerica Triathlon originally scheduled for Myrtle Beach in October will not take place this year.   TriAmerica indiana Dunes on September 6-7 will be the final race of the 2008 TriAmerica National Triathlon Series Tour.
